And The Winner Is…

It was a very special moment for Tenuta Polvaro. In the exciting setting of  “La Fenice Theater“ in Venice, we saw our wines shine during the awarding days of the 62nd edition of the Concorso Enologico Nazionale Italiano, the oldest wine competition in Italy. Among the 11,000 bottles, all tasted blind, from the different twenty Italian regions, the most prestigious award was given to us:

The Golden Lion was awarded to our Polvaro Nero D.O.C. 2019, which received the highest score winning Best Wine of Italy 2023 competition

The awards continued with our Polvaro Cabernet Sauvignon D.O.C. 2019 winning the title BEST WINE OF VENETO “City of Pramaggiore 2023,” usually given to the wine that received the highest score within its region.

Gold Medals were also given to Polvaro Prosecco D.O.C Brut, Polvaro Pinot Grigio D.O.C 2021 and finally Polvaro Lison Classico D.O.C.G 2021.

We are proud of these results, which reward our work, dedication, and passion that we put in every day as well as the wonderful land that we have been given and that we are deeply grateful for.
